· Open Registry Editor (regedit.exe)
· Navigate to the following key:
[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\TrayNotify]
· Backup the registry key
· Delete IconStreams and PastIconsStream values
· Restart the computer
